  • 2002-05 then 2012-14, Member at large of the OPC at ESO
  • 2006-09 PI of IMAGES, VLT Large Program providing the first observations of distant galaxies with integral
  • field units, 20 publications, citation rate ~ 1000
  • Advisor of 17 PhD thesis (1 at present) and supervision of 11 post-docs
  • Author or co-author of 169 refereed publications (citation rate: 10,200, Hindex: 51)
